### The Emergence <a href="#the-big-picture" id="the-big-picture"></a>

The $GUARD algorithmic token serves as the backbone of a rapidly growing ecosystem aimed towards bringing liquidity and new use cases to the fantom network.\
\
The protocol's underlying mechanism dynamically adjusts $GUARD's supply, pushing its price up or down relative to the price of $FTM.

Inspired by the original idea behind Tomb Finance, Guardian Finance is a multi-token protocol that consists of the following three tokens:\
-Guardian ($GUARD).\
-Shield ($SHIELD)\
-Guardian bond ($GBOND).

### Future Utility <a href="#what-differentiates-usdtomb-from-other-algorithmic-tokens" id="what-differentiates-usdtomb-from-other-algorithmic-tokens"></a>

One of the primary shortcomings of past algorithmic tokens has been a lack of use cases, leaving no good reason for somebody to want to use or hold them. In order to successfully maintain the peg in the long-run, the Guardian team will maintain a focus on innovation around enhanced functionality and use cases. The $GUARDIAN token **WILL** support a Multi-Dapp ecosystem on FTM, with **a yield farming dapp launched one week after the launch of Guardian Finance**. More info on use cases will be provided in future articles and updates! Meanwhile, hang on tight to both $GUARD and $SHIELD, as they will be your keys to unlock utility!&#x20;
